On August 30th, 2012, I woke up next to a baby scorpion. I don't want to forget that day so I want to do a post just on that. I, of course, panicked and told Emma not to go near that side of the bed. It was a teaching moment for Emma to know what a scorpion looks like and how dangerous that creature could be. Finally, I pushed the scorpion off the bed into copy paper so I could see it (my carpet is dark brown) and then I sprayed Raid and it killed it. Yikes!
