It's a picnic

This is the 3rd year, we attended Joe's work picnic party after tax season. It was fun, our whole family participated in all the relay games, yes even Noah and Emma. The kids got their first tan. It wa so hot! Oh well, at least they had a water balloon fight. I got Joe, hehe. Someone hit Noah accidentally so he cried for the rest of the afternoon.

Noah's first camping experience

Joe was invited to go camping with the Boy Scouts last Saturday. They needed another adult to come along with the Scout leader. All the young men who signed up to go cancelled and so Joe was a little sad. The Scout leader still had to go to teach a class and he would also bring his 5 year old son with him. He told Joe he could come along  if he really wanted too and that he could bring Noah with him. So, Joe packed himself and I helped him with Noah. I was a little nervous about Joe going alone with Noah. Many thoughts came to my mind such as: Noah will get lost, Noah will cry at night, Noah will be sad and cold and then I figured that I needed to trust Joe. They left Friday at 4 p.m. and came back Saturday at 2:30 p.m. both in good shape "whole". According to Joe, Noah said at night time home and mama. He loves me! I knew it!

Nico and Noah were really cold in the morning

Most likely throwing a rock.

Isn't that the cutest camping chair...not ours!

Eating his frozen granola bar.

ABCs and 123s

I meant to post this a while back. Noah has known his ABC's for about 3 months. He would watch this Leapfrog movie called the Letter Factory everyday. He finally learned it and likes spelling everything he sees that has letter. At the beginning he had a few of the letters wrong but it was so cute to hear him.
C- si
K- he would say cake - this one was my favorite one!
L- he would call it i
R- he would call it i too
S- he would just make the sound ssss
W- he would call it dabe
Z- he would call it zi zi zi

After he knew his ABC's, I borrowed fromt he library another Leapfrog movie call the Match Circus. He loves this show and within a couple of weeks he knew how to count to 10.
6- He calls this one sick =)

Yeah Noah! He is accomplishing more things now that he can express himself a little bit more than before. At least he is talking to me, daddy, Emma and a few friends who come by the house every once in a while.
