Finally a Boy Scout

Joe was called to be the Assistant Scoutmaster in our ward a few months ago. He is so happy about it, he has always told me about his dad going camping with the young men for many years. Joe loves camping and has not camped very much lately probably because I dislike it. Oh well, at least he gets to do that now. Our ward is small and the young men program is very small as well, there are only three deacons. In May, they had an overnight camp out and only one of the deacons could go so Joe and his friend Taco, the Scoutmaster, decided to bring their own kids camping. Isn't that fun? Noah had mix feelings about it but overall he told me he had a great time. I packed everything for Joe and Noah, especially sunscreen since it is so hot already. Apparently, Joe forgot to put some sunscreen on Noah and he returned home with a good tan. Older young men also attended the camping trip to get scuba certified for their big scuba project in July. Did I mention Joe looks very handsome in his Boy Scout shirt? He has not allowed me to take a picture of him yet but soon I will. Did I also mention he brags about receiving his Eagle Scout when he was 13 years old? Joe is silly and I love this silly boy.

Getting tan, where is the hat I packed for him?
