December 12 - Part 1

Christmas came by so fast again. I love the radio station that plays Christmas songs 24/7 except for they should add to their repertoire of music some David Archuleta version of songs.
We put up our Christmas tree as soon as it was December 1st and the kids were so happy! We also put 1 stocking up this year, I had to tape it to the fireplace because I had not bought stocking holders. The kids painted about 10 wooden decorations this year and the painting went better than the previous year. We saw the amazing Latter Day Saint Mesa temple lights at night.
The ward Christmas party and Joe's work Christmas party ended up being the same day and at the same time, so we made it to both but I was exhausted at the end of the day.
Noah had a special event for school at the train park and he was happy to have seen Elmo, Winnie the Pooh, and other friends at the event.

November 12

Noah had his annual Thanksgiving presentation at school and that was fun because he actually knew the songs. We had pie at the school too and Emma and I always enjoy that too!
This year we went to Vegas for Thanksgiving to visit Ruth and her family. My family (Lovons) decided to join the celebration so they came from UT to celebrate with us. The kids loved playing with grandpa (toti) and grandma (titi) and of course tio. No pictures with the Rodrigues this time, so sad :(

October - Part 2 (12)

Also in October, we had the Children's Primary Presentation. Noah memorized his part and said it by himself but maybe he was a little too quite. He did great! Emma also memorized Noah's part just for fun or because she likes to do anything Noah does. I did tell her that this was the last year she would memorized Noah's part, next year she would have her own part to memorize. She was happy about that.
Noah, our big boy turned 5 this month too. He is growing too fast right before my eyes! Time please slow down. We celebrated his birthday in November to avoid Halloween festivities. We also celebrated his birthday at school just because it is his last preschool year attending the speech therapy program.
Joe's work had a Halloween party as well so we enjoyed that very much and we ate for free at Chipotle because we wore our costumes. I did see a guy (strong) at that restaurant dressed up as a ballerina pretty awkward because Noah kept asking questions about it.
Right after the Children's Primary Presentation. The children are Choosing The Right!

October - Part 1 (12)

In October, we renewed the kids gym membership so they could go jump everyday! We also went to the train festival at the train park and for the first time we were able to go the Arizona State Fair. We had an awesome time, it was the best to see the kids happy and enjoying the rides. They are growing too fast! Noah was not scared at all in the mini mini roller coaster. I thought it went to fast for someone small but Noah and Emma wanted to go again. Noah also had a terrible accident (well not so terrible), he hit his cheek bone with his bed frame and had a serious black eye for 2 weeks. I joked that he should have dressed up as a boxer for Halloween but he really wanted to be a froggy and Emma a ghost.
